Lessons Learned from Our AI Challenge 2024
In our 2024 AI Challenge 15 CI/MI professionals across 7 groups devised a research plan utilizing AI. To ensure the authenticity of this test, we constructed a real-life case study as a means to evaluate AI’s capabilities in tackling the challenge.
The participants of the challenge employed a diverse range of prompting strategies. Some chose to upload the entire case study and tasked the AI with solving it, while others adopted a more traditional approach by formulating carefully crafted prompts that encapsulated the relevant context and provided explicit instructions to the AI.
While some participants favored single-prompt strategies, others devised a series of prompts. Some relied solely on their preferred AI, while others experimented with multiple AIs and even utilized AI to consolidate the results derived from different AIs.
The experience of participants in using AI for Competitive and Market Intelligence Tasks varied greatly, with some being quite seasoned and others being novices.
