ICI-03 Workshop: Competitive/Market Intelligence Reporting and Communication
How to set up and manage competitive/market intelligence reporting in companies
Reports and presentations play an important role in all competitive/market intelligence operations. They are a means of providing qualified information to support the decision-makers within your company. But how can you design reports and shape the relevant processes in order to harness the true value of competitive intelligence in your corporate environment?
In this workshop, we’ll introduce you to the most effective types and formats of intelligence reports (deliverables) that are used by CI units and centers. The focus of this workshop is on communication (“bringing it across”), and you’ll learn how to expertly design and create these intelligence deliverables. Various report examples will be discussed and assessed with the workshop participants. You might want to also take a look at the related workshop ICI-2, which focuses on intelligence writing styles and how to structure the content.
To round off the workshop, you’ll also be given an overview of the latest corporate reporting platforms (such as WIKIs and collaborative communities).
