Member of ASEPIC Member (Spanish Association for the Promotion of Competitive Intelligence).
Sonia was in charge - from 1997 to 2006 - of the first unit of "Competitive Intelligence" in Telefónica Spain, one of the world‘s leading integrated telecommunications operators, providing communication, information and entertainment solutions. She was responsible for defining the portfolio of Competitive Intelligence services, techniques and methods of competitive analysis and led the design, development, implementation and operation of the first Competitive Analysis Information System at Telefonica Spain. For over 6 years she taught courses on Intelligence training for employees and managers of Telefonica.
From 2006 to 2010 Sonia was responsible for the "Processes Map and Management" unit in Telefónica Spain, leading multiple projects of reengineering and convergence of transverse processes in the company.
Since 2009 she teaches advanced courses of Competitive Intelligence in the University of Francisco de Vitoria (Madrid).
She is currently Manager of "Transforming Internal Processes" unit in Telefónica Spain and responsible for the diagnosis, analysis, design, implementation and governance model of processes in several projects.
