Alexandra Cristea is a defense industry professional, with a vast international experience in Business Strategy and Competitive & Market Intelligence. She held different managerial positions in leading European defense companies. In her different roles, she led different departments, thereby implementing strategic foresight techniques and early warning systems. Alexandra was active on international markets, including Middle East, Asia, North America and Europe.

Over the years, Alexandra shared her thoughts and insights as a speaker and panelist on multiple occasions at the International Competitive & Market Intelligence Conference and in the International Market & Competitive Intelligence Magazine.

Born in Bucharest, Alexandra holds a degree in economics and management from the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Additionally, she graduated, as one of few civilians, from the Military Academy of the Italian Army with a thesis regarding innovation in the defense industry, which received the best thesis of the year award. Alexandra is also a graduate of the European Security and Defence College.
