Job Description Assist Head of Information Acquisition to manage the portfolio of external e-content including
• Licensing of external business news services & reference works
• Ongoing vendor & contract management for assigned existing contracts
• Business analysis of deals in subject specialty domain (e.g. Business Intelligence Resources)
• Identification and evaluation of new content sources incl. deployment & delivery
• Partner with deployment teams to promote the products and educate end-users
• Provide high level information consulting to partner groups and senior corporate managers in area of subject expertise
Minimum requirements • BA or BS in life sciences and an information related degree (MLS, Postgraduate in Information Science)
• 3-5 years of working experience in a corporate (pharmaceutical, technical or medical) Information Center
• Experience in online and internet searching
• Knowledge / experience with business databases and news services
• Strong negotiation skills
• Analytical skills
• Excellent information science and technology skills
• Proven talent to work independently & excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• English and German written & spoken
